About me

Experienced Frontend Developer with a strong foundation in the MERN stack, I specialize in creating high-quality, user-friendly web applications. Over the past few years, I've developed various UIs, built APIs, and shipped numerous core features for startups, all within Agile development environments.

Currently, I am developing a marketplace for travel services, tackling challenges such as transitioning manual operations online, simplifying the process of finding and booking activities, optimising web performance and SEO, managing disparate data solutions, and enhancing user experience.

In my previous role as a founding developer, I played a key role in the growth and development of the Monk Cart Upsell & Cross-Sell app for the Shopify App Store. Responsibilities included shipping core features, meeting platform requirements, resolving store-specific technical issues, maintain development docs and conducting proof of concepts (POCs). Additionally, I have completed numerous freelance projects of varying scales, highlighting my versatility and problem-solving abilities.

A career highlight was being recognized by a co-founder at Monk Commerce: "Harmeet was our first hire. Without his input and efforts, we wouldn't have achieved our current accomplishments."

Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, HTML/CSS, Redux, Vue.js, Material UI, and Tailwind, I also possess a robust understanding of backend technologies, including Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
